The U17 WORLD CUP MERCHANDISE BY UMKM SURABAYA IS NOW AVAILABLE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS!

The Surabaya City Government (Pemkot) has begun selling U17 World Cup merchandise or souvenirs in several locations in the City of Heroes. Football fans, supporters, the public, and foreign tourists can purchase products from MSMEs in Surabaya at shopping centers and terminals, boosting the economy for MSME players in celebration of the U17 World Cup.
Locations selling U17 World Cup merchandise include Galaxy Mall, Tunjungan Plaza, Royal Plaza, Ciputra World Surabaya, Pakuwon Mall, Surabaya Kriya Gallery (SKG) Merr and Siola, Joyoboyo Intermodal Terminal (TIJ), Osowilangon Terminal, and Terminal Benowo, Surabaya City.
Dewi Soeriyawati, Head of the Surabaya City Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade (Dinkopdag) Department, mentioned that the Surabaya City Government started marketing MSME-made merchandise for the U17 World Cup several days before the event on November 10, 2023.
"We have started selling merchandise in malls, SKGs, and terminals. Thank God, the support from the mall is also extraordinary. Both the tenancy, the place, and the decorating process are also done by them," said Dewi on Thursday (9/11/2023).
The variety of merchandise includes key chains, magnetic decorations, ballpoint pens, hats, pillows, dolls, bags, bucket hats, tote bags, to T-Shirts (t-shirts) featuring images of Surabaya City icons, namely Suro and Boyo.
"Our sales target is to sell out, because the prices are very affordable, starting from IDR 10,000 to around IDR 125,000. That is the original price from MSMEs, very affordable," explained Dewi.
Therefore, Dewi invites the entire community and football supporters to join in enlivening the grand event of the U17 World Cup by buying merchandise from Surabaya City MSME products. Moreover, the city of Surabaya is the home base for the Indonesian National Team (Timnas) while competing in Group A.
“It is a matter of pride that the U17 World Cup is being held in the city of Surabaya. Please (please) the people of Surabaya come to watch this event which will start on November 10, 2023, and also buy merchandise made by Surabaya MSMEs. Let's be proud to use MSME products," she concluded. (*)
